Alexander Valley Appellation 

Join generations of the Robert Young family, who pioneered farming in the Alexander Valley in 1858, for an educational and interactive wine and food Flavor Spectrum luncheon. Festivities begin with a tram ride to the top of the hill overlooking the spectacular 450-acre estate, while sipping classic Robert Young Chardonnay. On the back patio of the family’s iconic estate home, you’ll learn to trust your palate as you sample traditional and non-traditional food and wine combinations. Celebrated Chef Barbara Hom will lead you through four flavor themes: mirror, contrast, outside the envelope and controversial, pairing unique dishes with each of Robert Young’s estate wines. The goal is to demonstrate that food and wine pairing is subjective as individual palates differ. Escape to Viluko in the Mayacamas Mountains, where the landscape offers rugged, challenging conditions for growing wine grapes—and the views will take your breath away. You’ll gather at a community table for a feast under the shade of the historic Split Rock Barn, and you will be joined by your convivial hosts, Owner Pedro Arroyo and Winemaker Timothy Milos. They will present you with their award-winning estate grown wines irresistibly paired with farm-fresh plates prepared by Chef Shaun Mcgrath and Jenny Hodges. Viluko Vineyards is planted to 33 acres of organically farmed vines comprised of these Bordeaux varietals: Cabernet Sauvignon, Malbec and Sauvignon Blanc. All six Viluko wines will be poured, including the newly released Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon and Estate Chardonnay.

Russian River Valley Appellation

You’re invited to spend a wine country evening of fun, food and world class wines on the terrace at Viszlay Vineyards in Healdsburg. Soak up the wonderful hillside views of the Mayacama Mountains while sipping on Viszlay’s small lot single vineyard estate wines.You’ll start with Viszlay’s exclusive Prosecco, grown on the property, and delight in appetizers of grilled prawns and smoked salmon. There will be wonderful tasty local cheeses and fruits to complement the wines. Chef Mama Tina will prepare a mouthwatering main course of filet mignon and homemade mushroom ravioli. The wines will be selected from the top line of Reserves and Library treasures including Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Zinfandel, Viszlay’s proprietary Bordeaux style blend and Petite Sirah. Dessert with cherries jubilee and port, of course, will seal the evening.
